To ensure uninterrupted operation of Ausweis Device and the electric locking mechanism, it is recommended to use a backup power supply. Please note that a backup power supply must not be used for electromagnetic locking mechanisms that control escape routes.

It is strictly forbidden to use Ausweis Device as the only unlocking way. The emergency opening method should work independently of Ausweis Device. Test emergency opening after installing Ausweis Device. Perform periodic emergency opening checks.
