The first Ausweis Device was installed

23.04.2017

The start is always the hardest, as they say. In our case, the prototyping stage is always the hardest. We worked hard to create the functioning first Ausweis device prototype. It was a tough eventful period as we had the hopes of our founder - Alexander Konovalov - placed on us.

He had the initial idea - to make something that would get rid of all the barriers the world has. More practically speaking - Alexander wanted to create an access control service. This is where it all started, and the idea began its journey towards implementation.

The prototyping phase took us 4 months. It was, in fact, the most critical and responsible stage when the foundation of the product was laid, the architecture and the logic of the service were developed, 90% of the server and the web cabinet were written. We decided on the look of our Ausweis Device and created the first iteration of the board.

Our team spent hours and hours working tirelessly to create the concept. Finally, we were ready to present the very first Ausweis prototype. The first thing we did after installation was to test all the main functions. We have subjected the Ausweis device to numerous tests and trials to identify and eliminate all possible shortcomings. To our satisfaction, it passed all of them with flying colors.

That was it - our first significant step closer to launching the Ausweis service.
